The thing about here is that they make the menu fun enough to want to come back constantly. It's the type of creativity that, even if I come across a miss (which is super rare), it's only on the menu temporarily and I can swing by again and try something completely different. From the cat menu, the game show menu, the spice girls menu, I just can't wait to see what they have cooked up for the holiday months. This is everything I want from a bar. I wish it were a local spot for me.

Last Wednesday, This spot was the after spot for an app That shall remain nameless (bc they NEVER inform the owners/establishments that so many of us are coming lol) We met the owner what a lovely person and place! I was introduced to Orange wine!? And it wasn't mimosa. So delish. The vibe was so cute, like stary night we sat outdoors in a very cute cuddled hut chatting about anything and everything Def would love to visit again without the confusion. Thanks for your hospitality

Cute bar in Brooklyn! I was trying to catch up with friends and the inside felt a little loud, so we opted for the outdoor seating on the street. The vibes were great out there! Drinks were quite good too. Great place to hang out

Went around DT Brooklyn and stumbled across this gem, have been biking by and noticed the energy and vibes were on point. Decided to check it out one gloomy summery day and was not disappointed. Seated outside on short notice, cocktails were solid (albeit a little pricey), tried few oysters, shrimp tacos, and deviled eggs. Of which oysters were fresh and juicy with savory cocktail sauce. All in all solid place for drinks and oysters would repeat!

Came here on a Thursday night for some drinks and small bites. Had the oysters, tacos and spicy margaritas. What's to cheer - Creative drink menu - Good drinks - Genuinely Friendly service - Cool decor that is fun but still classy What's to jeer - It's super loud. Even not full of people. Maybe turn the music down a bit. A really great option if you are in the neighborhood

Wow, I was somewhat nervous to come because it seemed pretty western themed which is not my vibe. But, I got some tips from local bartenders, and I can admit I was quick to judge. First of all, Grand army is not overly western/country. A great balance of feeling like a throwback bar with some classic country elements. The back bar feels vintage and rustic. Both bartenders had on overalls. But, in a hipster, contemporary way. The bar tenders were great. Great conversations and incredible attention to detail. But, they would not give me their mint syrup recipe which is unlike any I have ever seen. Their mint syrup is a deep green with some ground mint in there. Grand army: if you are willing to share your secrets let me know. Both drinks I have were great: the national barn dance and gully jumper. The gully jumper being the clear favorite, and a top 5 I had on my trip. Both rum and gin blend perfectly with the mint, pineapple, and peppercorn. Tiki-esque, but still sophisticated. I kept getting notes of black licorice--which I hate--but it was so amazing. This one is a crusher got sure. Absolutely a perfected cocktail. The national barn dance was also solid. The supporting cast of watermelon and passionfruit were much more subtle, but still good. The mezcal definitely shined through. I wish I would've grabbed a shirt as their merch is really solid. As for the vibes: super casual. Nothing pretentious. It is a soot where everyone feels like they belong. I love that. Fun, whimsical, and well branded. A beautifully curated space with a meticulously crafted bar program. Sign me up all day.

This was my first time here and I would definitely come back. I went on Thursday evening and it was pretty busy but able to get a table right away. Only did small bites, popcorn and the deviled eggs. I got the moon and sky cocktail with pisco in it which was sweet but not too sweet. Loved the atmosphere. Good vibes and good service.

Grand Army is great for drinks! They have an excellent cocktail list that's always evolving, with plenty of unique options that are consistently delicious. They also serve food -- their menu focuses on seafood fishes, and their oysters do not disappoint. There are smaller tables and bar seating packed into a cozy interior, making it a solid option for dates. Plus, the outdoor seating is a must in the warmer months. Definitely worth checking out!

Everything was perfect. Friendly staff when I walked in the door. Nathan found me a solo spot at the bar. The bartender, Pepper, was absolutely lovely and nice to chat with. The food was delicious. I got two each of the three oyster varieties they had. And the scallops with coconut risotto were amazing and cooked to perfection. I loved the wine as well. The red from Languedoc had amazing spice and depth of flavor. I also loved the white from Spain - the epitome of crispness. Another cute thing the do is to rotate their cocktail menu themes. This particular menu was cat themed. They also make merch to go along with each theme. I'm also happy to see that they are part of the Billion Oyster Project. I will definitely be back!
